The lights switch on is quite a big event. It's ticketed and the square gets cordoned off. There will be a stage set up no doubt.
There will be a large number of security guards there too but in essence it's not a huge deal. It can take a couple of days max to get all the roads blocked off and the stage set up.
Yes it is just a switch that is pressed at the end of the day but it's defo a popular event.
However there is no need to remove the benches from the square some 16 days beforehand. |
