| Comment | A lot of the yeasty smell across the city (also pretty prevalent in Edinburgh) actually comes from whisky distilleries, rather than breweries as commonly thought. The Strathclyde Distillery that can be seen south of the river from Glasgow Green is a pretty big culprit and it wouldn’t surprise me if you can smell that in the West End depending on the wind direction. |
