| Comment | Cons: Things are pretty grim. Prices are rising, politics are crap, rented accomodation is difficult to come by (I hear). Scotland until at least mid March is dark and depressing weather wise.
Pros: Glasgow Uni is fun and will give you good connections, we make the most of a shit situation by having quite a lot to do (clubbing/music/nightlife etc), very gay friendly too. It's a fun opportunity you may not get again, even in the rain Scotland is quite pretty.
All in I'd go for it unless you absolutely can't afford it. I loved my year abroad at uni. |
