There's a proposal being actively considered just now to remove the M8 slip roads from the north side of Charing Cross. What that would do to traffic in the surrounding area is anybody's guess.
It seems pretty obvious from Sauchiehall St that nobody put any thought into what would happen with deliveries. There are some loading bays but they're spaced quite far apart and typically full of parked cars anyway. |
