Just curious. When I hear someone refer to themselves as "Asian" I assume they're East Asian, because I'm pretty sure saying "Asian" to mean Indian is pretty much just a British thing. So I wanted to know if South Asians refer to themselves as just "Asian" too.
Is that okay?!
