Comment | I have seen the odd seal at Dalmarnock , first time I seen one was about 10 years ago. That is indeed a big salmon, you can see the colour and the big spade of a tail, to answer pincelephant, there is now a very good run of salmon in the Clyde and of course to get to the spawning grounds around Rosebank, they need to come from the sea all the way past Glasgow and all the dirty bits. There are also many other fish, the Clyde is really not dirty in the way it used to be. The real question is how the hell do seals get past the weir at the Green? |
