Comment | Have you got Sky Q as well? I’m not tech minded at all, so sorry for the poor description, but we had an issue with ours. We’re on EE broadband with Sky Q. Apparently broadband has 2 channels - 2.hz and 5hz the Sky box uses the 2.4hz, but some of your other Wi-Fi devices might switch from the 5hz to the 2.4hz channel automatically to get a better signal.
Sky Q doesn’t like this so kicks them off to keep its signal. It was actually EE that sorted this for us (Sky are useless) and we now have 2 Wi-Fi channels with the same name - one is 2.4hz and the other is 5hz. It stops devices from switching between the two and we haven’t had a problem since. Apparently this is something you can do yourself, but I would t know where to start.
Sorry again if this isn’t technically correct. |
