Unfortunately the dvla allow complete idiots to drive on the roads when it comes to car testing. I can't say the same for hgv tests and motorcycle tests. Even van drivers (not hire vans as those are lethal and is just a car driver behind the wheel) are more aware and have a better understanding than the school parents and the Sunday drivers. It's shocking. There should be harder tests and competence tests. Not just a little game of a test and it's passed. Hell half the folk on the road don't even understand how a gearbox works and how it's important to keeping traction on a road. That's why there's so many crashes. Idiots in 5th/6th gear on wet roads going round blind bends at 60mph. Total fucking idiots. |
