There was a thread about this maybe 2 weeks ago which ended in the consensus on Meaco being a good brand in general. Not sure how to advise you on the size though.
I bought one off the back of that, and couldn't be happier. It's the 8L version for my wee 2 bed flat and empty it once a day.
