As far as them searching, you have given them that permission, I’d suggest the officers at that stage being speculative of perhaps finding something or you becoming “cheeky” so they could do you on a public order offence.
Moving forward, I’d suggest making your door very safe ie get a steel door. The police even using there equipment will take a long time battering them in.
Although if your in a house or bottom flat then they can smash a window but again you can take steps to secure them.
They can turn up night or day for these welfare checks it’s a bad situation to be in. |
