| Comment | I suspect there is a significant difference between a lawful entry where nothing is found and a response to a complaint where entry was found to be unlawful altogether. For instance, if a warrant was granted for your pals place on dodgy information then its still a lawful entry. I suspect that'd be different to cops just booting in random doors, I say suspect because I don't know but if that wasn't the case then coppers would just boot in doors of folk they suspected and there would be no recourse. |
