The demand is most definitely there. How many people drive into town to work in offices? Only one person that I know drives in ocassionally, and all the rest get public transport, bike it or walk. Every morning there are thousands of people trudging through the misery of a painfully overcrowded and slow bus service, or an overcrowded, delayed train.
