The fact is, if I didn’t work more than the contracted hours the children in my class, particularly those with additional support needs, would suffer. It’s not as simple as “Improve your methods and you’ll be able to stick to the contracted hours” and I’d bet my whole salary that the vast majority of teachers would agree. |
