I can’t be arsed explaining rising mains, direct or indirect plumbing systems and storage tanks but to summarise - your kitchen cold tap is guaranteed to be drinkable. All other taps (including bathroom cold) are not.
There are ways you can tell if your system is direct or indirect. Let me know if you want more info but as I say, to be safe, just drink from the kitchen sink cold tap and you’ll be fine. Never drink from the hot tap |
