I'm English and have been in Glasgow almost 5 years and only ever had 2 not serious incidents when anyone remotely cared I was English. One was being refused entry because 'I was english' according to the bouncer but I got an email apology afterwards and a weird explanation as them being worried about my safety as the football was on (never felt unsafe during the football though) and the other was in an Irish pub and them singing songs and saying 'fuck the English' but they also shut up and apologised once they realised I was English. Otherwise noone seems to care at all! |
