| Comment | Each surgery (evidently) has it’s own system. Mine has some appointments available on the day and the rest available on advance appointment. So I would consider changing GP if feasible.
However, offering no advance booked appointments whatsoever really is unacceptable (imo) and so you should also complain to the relevant NHS board. People think there just an extension of the NHS but most GP practices are run as businesses and get payments from NHS (like dentists). |
