I think people who live in Glasgow already know this, but visitors/outsiders especially from outside Scotland always seem surprised by how much green space it has. I guess the stereotype of Glasgow specifically is that its 'industrial' and Scotland generally just that its 'grey and cold' and so I guess people put those together and expect it just to be full of stone and metal and concrete.

Also could be that some other cities don't have much green space and they're expecting it to be the same.
