Check if the rugby is on at Murrayfield before travelling on the Edinburgh express train from Queen St.
Made that mistake the other weekend when going on a day trip to Dunfermline via Haymarket. Huge queues. Nae chance.
Still managed getting there by taking the slow train that goes from the lower level of Queen St which wasn't as busy but fuck me it lives up to the name in comparison. Thankfully on the way back the Express was relatively quiet (probably because Scotland lost). |
