I get what you mean but I guess I kind of like that.
With the exception of a few bams and the odd junkie I think folk in Glasgow and probably most major cities literally don't care who walks by them in the street and they aren't looking for conversation when out running errands or doing some shopping. They just want to get where they are going with the most minimal interaction possible.
All though if you really want conversations and interactions/smiles from random people in all matter of places then buy a dog because we get stopped frequently with our spaniel and its always nice. |
