A good option might be outside the West End but on the Subway route. Somewhere like Cessnock or Govan where you can easily get into the West End or City Centre for work but you aren't paying £££. The West End is the most expensive area of the city to rent and the demand is massive right now due to the expansion of Glasgow University.
