| Comment | I had a downstairs neighbour like this in new build flats, would buzz up and rant about the noise we were making whenever we moved around the flat amd then run back inside before we could speak to her face to face and refuse to answer the door. she would shout about our morning routine as if we had any choice in getting up for work and disturbing her sleep with our showering and getting dressed nonsense. She would also wait until we had gone to bed to buzz up and shout about the noise we had made on our way to bed 😂 She also had the council out who went into her flat to listen to what she was complaining about. He came up and basically said she was a mentalist (in more diplomatic terms) and told us not to worry they would not be taking it further. She was basically complaining that we were not moving around the flat on a system of ropes and pulleys and had the cheek to be walking on the floor. We did have laminate flooring but put down rugs everywhere and wore slippers as soon as she starting complaining. Honestly got to laugh now but it was a nightmare at the time, tiptoeing around the flat scared to anger the beast downstairs. Couldn't wait to get out of there, heaven help who ever moved in after us. |
