| Comment | This is just a classic bored nit picking neighbour, had the same issues in my last flat bc they didn’t like dogs so I became the target for having one, constant chaps from the police about noise complaints and claims of ‘wild parties’ only for them to come in and see my and me girlfriend were alone watching tv.
Try and be reasonable and explain it’s unreasonable for them to request you not to make noise at such an early time in the evening. They also can’t control the footwear you wear in your own home so I would be bringing that up aswell. If they keep it up start putting letters through their door explaining you feel harassed by them and if they don’t stop you’ll take it further. Any member of authority is gonna laugh them out the building for their claims. You’ve very much got the upper hand here, what they’re doing is petty and pathetic. |
