Comment | These are the ones I can think of from Glasgow and the Clyde area -
east - usually deeper and a bit more forceful sounding than south,
south/govan - honestly the default classic in my mind
springburn/maryhill - bit more nasally
hyndland/dowanhill - glasgow uni accent, talks like they're trying to be a youtuber
newton mearns/clarkston - the voice somebody uses when they want to make a formal complaint
bearsden - like newton mearns but older
partick to drumchapel - el classico pt 2
inverclyde - when they sound normal but start whipping out the 'ken wit a mean' and 'come ben the scullery' patter
