I mean Buchanan Street is the 2nd busiest shopping street in the UK after Oxford Street in London, so clearly something's gone well. Also anecdotally, it's pretty much the only high street I've been on in the UK that doesn't feel like it's just died a death and been filled with vape shops and betting shops.
