Right now I have a pay as you go meter. I topped up £20 last week, right away £18 was taken for a standing charge and 50p for debt, leaving us £1.50 which is only lasting 20 minutes before it runs out. I don’t work because I’m a carer, and genuinely can’t afford top top it up anymore.
