| Comment | We went the first year and it was unbelievably shite, so much so that I rang them up the next day to ask for a refund.
We got inside the art gallery and it was like a long queue slowly walking through various rooms. This took ages and we eventually asked one of the attendants how long this queue was going to be as the kids were completely bored and ready to fall asleep. The guy replied with “what queue?”. There was no queue, we were actually in what we’d paid for. This was it! You were to walk through the dimly lit rooms with random things hanging from the ceiling with string like an elf toy and some coloured lights. I think they’d put some fake snow on top of some of the art displays and a fake Santa beard on a statue.
You could literally of set this up and paid for all the materials for about 50 quid. Absolute joke. Whoever came up with it was either a massive scam artist or criminally insane.
At least there was a wee ice rink outside and you could buy some candy floss so the kids got something out of it at least. |
