Pretty much. But they couldn’t have foreseen the cost of living crisis which a)has pushed fuel bills up and will add large costs to their shops and b)left folk with less money, meaning they’re cutting back on shopping in places like locavore.

It’s easy to be critical, but running a business is precarious and risks have to be taken.

I don’t use the shops. I do however receive a vedge box and load of bread each week which I think is ok value. Part of the reason I subscribe is the ethos; locally grown food is something we really need going forward for a variety of reasons.
