A lot of places are furnished especially if you are looking for a house share. There is spareroom.co.uk which you could use to look, also search on Facebook for house share groups.
I don't know the names of au pair organisations but it definitely exists as a concept, a woman I used to know did it and lived-in with a family. I'm not sure if she was paid or if she just had a free room in the house in exchange. |
