Comment | I can understand the chink/paki thing if that's the only thing that person says. In that case it is just a word. However, when they start stringing other words together like "if they don't like it they should go back home" or "if your gonna come to our country you should learn to speak the lingo properly" and all that nonsense I start to give side eyes.
Racisim, bigotry, and hate are all much wider concepts than words and I think the "Glasgow ain't racist" when it clearly has serious racial undertones is more akin to a culture not recognising it's own shadow (to reference Carl Jung.) |
