| Comment | IMHO no. The feeling I mostly get as a man with a very southern English accent is people up here are mostly 1) very anti Westminster and 2) very anti tory. Both completely understandable.
I have lived here for 9 years and have never had anything other the friendly banter about being English, and this incudes working the doors at many nightclubs/pubs ext including celtic supporters venues.
Don't get me wrong, like any big city glasgow is full of utter horrid cunts and I've been called most other names under yhe sun, been attacked ect but not one comment about being English. |
