The issue is a combination of post-covid reduced services and a lack of staff.

Services that previously had 6 buses and hour now have 4, with comparable reductions across the board. Even with passenger numbers only being at 80% of pre covid levels, those 4 buses are doing 120% of the work that the schedules were designed for.

Add in a staff shortage and your previously 6 buses an hour are down to 3 buses an hour.

The 3 buses an hour are doing over 1.5x the passengers that schedule was designed for. Every stop the bus gets later and later.

Add in a senior management team with a lack of vision and innovation, who answer to profit seeking shareholders and not the travelling public.
