I disagree. There’s still an appetite for some retail- but there’s no need for multiples of the same store within a square mile.

This would ensure that Buchanan street doesn’t decline like Sauchiehall/Argyle as it turns it into a neighbourhood rather than a shopping precinct.

I’d love it if they were clever enough to offer retail units small and cheap enough to encourage a more local offering.
