Might be worthwhile looking at something other than a 3 course Christmas lunch in that case.

Max's has a wide and varied menu and is reasonable. It's a pub but has a good vibe and the food is always good. They posted a Christmas menu today, its not traditional Christmas lunch but a main is like £10 so might be worth taking a look.
