It is quite sad, especially as a lot of the public lap it up because the events are always well attended (often too much so).

It does make me wonder if it's likely to be the way forward though, sad as it is. Without knowing the finances, and looking in from the outside, it looks like it's not overly expensive to set up and run but they can sell tickets off the back of influencers that are more than happy to take some free tickets and post pictures to get their social media following to buy the tickets. If Itison are making money on these ventures then I doubt it will be long before a lot of others jump on the bandwagon.
