Dumbarton Road for example is on the North side and most people who live or work around there are really unpretentious, salt-of-the-earth folks of all ages - but elsewhere on the same side, 10 minutes' walk away on Byres Rd/Great Western Rd/Glasgow Uni area is a different story, where I've heard snippets of conversation including "yah I'm not really a fan of brioche" which says enough I think |
