No worries man, anything to help - I'm not a tradesman, but I have renovated my entire flat so learned a thing or two in the process, happy to offer what little DIY expertise I do have and also understand the needing to stick to a small, tight budget too - hence why I ended up learning the thing or two!

Okay, so what do you have to hand - any tools, paint rollers/trays, etc?

Do you have a dehumidifier? If you don't have one, do you know anyone who does who might lend you theirs for a week or so?

I wouldn't want to advise on whether you should strip the paper back without seeing it myself first - feel free to send me a picture of your bathroom with the problem areas circled, it will help me get a bit of a better idea of what you're dealing with. Where are you in Glasgow?
