| Comment | Yeah he was a bit of a player in the barras back on the day. Made his money (rumoured in the 7 figures and I believe it), got fed up with being pinched every year for dodgy discs and moved on. Had the pet / aquarium shop on Bain St just outside barras selling illegal sharks among other things and last I heard he got into the fireworks business with a big place in Hillington years back. Used to run with a big bear of a bloke Sammy and lanky Billy brannan. Knew them from when I was a kid working a stall in there and they were still there at it 10 years later lol. |
