I think a lot of folk that wear shorts were already wearing them indoors and have cause to go outside for a short time. They will be back home or in a warm place soon afterwards.
In any case if you are active outside then wearing shorts can be quite pleasant. Your upper body and hands are more vulnerable to heat loss.
Also it might be cold in Glasgow just now but there is no icy 🥶wind or rain which makes the conditions quite pleasant. |
