Easterhouse is a “new” estate but with some of the similar problems you’ll be aware of in a New Town. Lack of shops, things to do, connectivity etc etc. Honestly, I’d say that if i had the choice I’d rather live in Basildon than Easterhouse, though. At least you have access to a Wimpy that way…
I’m not being negative for the sake of it, you should go look around first. It’s better than it was in the 90’s but in the 90’s it was legitimately horrible (think smashed windows, nothing to do, crime etc). |
