Its all relative, £50 is way too much to go skating in my opinion, probably most peoples. Off peak that turns into £25 thats pretty reasonable.
I took my toddlers (<5) and it was £12 for the 2 of them to scoot around the ice for 45 minutes. The fake snow button thing has entertained them for hours so that was extremely good value.
