I know, there’s no rhyme nor reason to it just now.

She was originally looking at East Ren around Giffnock/Clarkston/Netherlee but everything still seems to be going for a lot more than HR there, but to be fair that was the case even before the pandemic.

Think it might be the fact she’s looking at houses and not flats, a lack of houses in the central southside areas seem to be keeping the prices up.

Plus it was mad how much the flats increased in value so they take the biggest dip, guy I work with was in a flat in Cathcart for years, sold it in late 2019 for a few thousand more than he paid for it, whoever bought it sold it again in March and made £105k on it.

Don’t get me wrong, nice flat but worth nowhere near that.
