At the lower end, there are a bunch of gyms like pure gym and JD sports.
I’d say the council gyms (Glasgow club) are in between. These tend to have pools (I don’t know if the saunas and stuff are even open in all of them again). They’re not as nice as the higher end ones, and you might have to wait for equipment. The good thing about these is the staff will help out with our pushing PT sessions on you, and you get 4 free sessions to help you settle in and get used to it.
I think the most important thing is to find one you like and is near you so it’s not a pain to go. No point choosing a nice gym if it’s out the way and takes effort to get to the place. |
