Look. The semantics of who can afford what are besides the point.

You cannot deny that the same wage 1 or 2 years ago would have got you a lot more for your money. We are in a situation where nearly every single sector who can strike , is striking because the situation is not tenable. Doctors, paramedics, teachers, railway workers, postal workers, binmen and more. There's a reason and it isn't that they're being greedy.

It's because after 12 years of austerity wages haven't been increasing in line with inflation and people are suffering.

Do you think it's right to work 5 out of 7 days of your life... to be able to eat and put a roof over your head and only cover the basic necessities? To struggle to budget in new shoes for yourself when you need them? To have to say if your pregnant you need to get an abortion because you can't afford to have a kid despite working a full time job?

Meanwhile, corporations pull in the largest profits they ever have, mp's funnel money into their friends businesses under crude guises whilst we do nothing and the largest wealth transfer in history happens during covid.

Where did you pull your "majority" of people bullshit from.? Because the majority of people I know aren't living like that.

You think it's ludacris people might want a holiday in their lives? What should they have to earn to be able to take a holiday? It's only for the upper middle class and upwards I assume? Because anyone working class who dreams of a family holiday to Greece or Spain must be a spoiled brat.

Fuck off
