| Comment | Now might be a really bad time to ask this question as it is currently -5C and had been below 0C all day! And not even any snow to make snowmen or have a fight! So people will be particularly annoyed with the weather.
I grew up in Glasgow and for a large part of my adult life. Mainly not too cold, but enough that you do need a decent jacket. Yes it rains a lot compared to other Scottish places, but you get used to being permanently damp when you’ve been outside, and either remember an umbrella or say “fuck it” and keep your head down while walking (at least I do as I have glasses).
I will warn you on one thing; the moment the temperature gets more than 10C or there is a bit of sun, you’ll see lots of guys with their shirts off as who knows if it will be the one day of summer that we get. Need to take full advantage.
