I prefer the cold and got used to the weather having lived here for over eight years now (originally from Paris), but no matter what, you'll hate November when it rains non-stop and everything is flooded – there's visiting for four days when it rains, and then there's "guess it's forever wet coat month." And really, the flooded roads are a nightmare, but that's also because I walk more often than not; you need good waterproof shoes.

Also, since you're from Spain, I'd say to be careful around the winter because the lack of sunlight can hit pretty hard. Again, you get used to it, but for the first few years it was really depressing.

But you'll be delighted that in summer we rarely go beyond 25°C – I know that's why it is an okay season for me now (still think it's less pretty than any of the other three), when I used to really dislike it!
