This is not only about Glasgow. The whole country is in the shitter (and by country I mean “UK”). And sure, if everything was better things would be better. But aside from some good sounding phrases you haven’t mentioned a single actionable thing on how to get there.

And just fyi: I’m no victim in this. Not at all - I’m really, really comfortable. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was in the top 1% of (salaried) earners in Glasgow. I’m rich by most standards (not just Uk standards) and have the freedom to move to another country if I want / need to. I’ve mad Glasgow my home, but I’m not from the UK originally and have lived in four countries before I came here and while I personally don’t need change, I’m just really frustrated by what I see, by how sclerotic, how unorganised and how unable to change this country is.
The twenty something year olds all have ideals, spout them loud, glue themselves to motorways, but when it comes down to actually vote and make a difference, they can’t be arsed. So yet again, we have the same outcome every five years, and nothing changes, because the people that really could make a difference don’t bother to vote. There won’t be a revolution if that’s what you’re looking for. You need a change from within the system and that means be active politically and vote! No one seems to bother though.
