Hillfoot train station about 7 stops into either Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central. Loads of train strikes on at the moment so you'll need to check for when those are and if she'll be effected.
Could also get the bus, 60A ran by First Bus. You can get this on Milngavie road.
Train takes about 25 minutes and bus around 35 minutes.
