| Comment | If you get the train you can pay in advance via the Scotrail app using a debit/credit card. There are also machines in the station you can buy a ticket from.
If you get the bus, you can pay onboard with contactless payment. Hold your card on the reader until it beeps, then tap off at the reader in the saloon of the bus. Alternatively pre purchase a ticket on the First Bus app which will give you a QR code to scan when you board. The buses don’t accept american express, but you can use Visa/Mastercard and Apple/Android Pay. |
