So you can tell by looking at the frame. Can see it’s black and the paint is coming off the wood. If you can press the wood with a screwdriver or a blunt knife you will see how soft the wood is. Chances are the frames are full of water.
Couple of other people have given you advice on citizens advice. Can also try shelter Scotland. They get recommended on this sub a lot and seem to get good results.
If you have an email for your landlord/ letting agency start emailing them. Email them every week asking for updates. Helps create a trail. Keep a record of any phone calls or visits as well.
