| Comment | It can be both. I had a new build flat that I lived in for 7 years no problems. I didn't do anything special, dried laundry on radiators etc but no mould. Had to relocate and couldn't sell it so rented it out for a few years to a young couple. When they moved out there was mould in all the windows and all over the bathroom. The rest of the block was fine. I've no idea what they did(though extractor fans were turned off and window vents closed when I got the keys back) but after a massive clean up operation the mould was gone and didn't come back. |
